The tables have turned

"Don't worry Lucy. I changed my mind, you don't have to think about that" he said, waving towards the bucket, kissing Lucy's head. "I'm going to let you rest some more. We got time for everything else. All the time in the world."

Lucy stared back at him in silence, noticing just now that he still felt too exhausted. Probably the rest of the drug wearing off slowly, as well as the stress from the whole situation and the shock from... He gulped, his chest aching at that thought.

Bandit noticed that, gently stroking over his head an back, holding him even closer. "I'm here. Don't worry."

Lucy made a face at that, trying to pull away. He couldn't show weakness now. Not to this psycho.

"Hey hey, it's fine, really. Trust me." He kept holding Lucy close, pulling him ever tighter to his body.

Lucy tried to fight back, to free himself, slowly growing more exhausted though, his attempts getting slowly weaker. He growled, pulling at the restraints again.

"You're exhausting yourself like that darling. You'll need some strengt the next days or else I'll have to teach you the rules several times. And it's never good when my patience runs out."

Lucy huffed, breathing heavily, before sighing. He was right. As much as he hated to admit that to himself, but Bandit was right. He needed his strength, if he wanted to get out of this nightmare. Swallow your pride for once. Give in. Just for the time being... Then strike when the opportunity comes.

"Yes, like that." He looked down at him, smiling again. Such a genuine smile that it looked wrong on Bandit's face and yet so right as he looked at Lucy in the most adoring way. "Or do you need help falling asleep? I can get you some medics if you want that...?"

He quickly shook his head. He wanted to be able to wake up on his own. he didn't trust his 'meds'.

"Alright. I hope you'll have a good rest then." He sighed, tying Lucy to the bed again, holding him down by sitting on top of him, before getting up from the bed. "I'll have to go and clean the mess downstairs... and take care of a few other things. Do you really want to say goodbye to everyone?" He was already standing in the doorway, looking over at Lucy one last time.

"... No." He looked away, making a face at the thought of his coworker.

"Then I'll be sure to get this done quickly" he hummed softly, closing the door after him.

Lucy stood quiet and teared up quietly, shivering at the memory. It be a miracle if He managed to find any sleep.
