Swim with or against the system, nothing in between

Bandit was sick of it. He was sick of his job, sick of his surrounding... but that wasn't anything new after all. And tonight was one of those faithful nights where he'd try to make a difference with his people and change the miserable life of everyone living in or near his neighbourhood. Only for a few days but that always was the breather that the people needed without getting punished. As he stepped outside his small and quite dirty apartment he was welcomed by his gang and they all went to the forsaken place... the factory. Planing on trashing up that cursed building. And maybe the police was there... who knew. Messing with them was one of the few entertaining things left in Bandit's life. Especially that one officer... basically the devil himself...

Lucy was on patrol. After numerous complains about some hooligans violating the companies property, some policemen got assigned to the place to keep an eye out. Two to three at each corner. He was assigned to the west one, waving his flashlight around to check his surroundings. Where is this useless rookie at? How difficult can it be to get a coffee around here? He grumbled, as he continued his way, listening to the talks of the other officers via walkie talkies. The next 24h one is right around the corner... He squinted his eyes, grumbling.

The police around the area were a bit difficult to avoid but that was only adding fuel to the fire of aggression as well as frustration that Bandit and his crew were feeling. Two decided to split from the group, starting to trash a police car to get their attention and help the others sneak around better like that. As soon as they were sure they were alone they started to demolish whatever they could find, breaking windows or destroying machines... whatever there was, the tried breaking it.

The attack on the car surely caught the attention of most of the policemen. Some didn't bother to check, staying at their position. Only Lucy knew what was up and went inside. He turned off his flashlight and sneaked around, trying not to get too much attention. As soon he found the culprit's, he stood at a safe distance, observing them and planning his next step, as his walkie talkie went on: "Hey, boss?? Where did you go, I got you coffee??" Lucy got startled by it and grabbed it quickly in an attempt to turn it off. Oh, I'm gonna kill that rookie!!

Bandit smirked widely as he waved two of his pals along, cutting off any way to escape as they closed in around Lucy. "Well if that isn't our least favourite police officer" he said in a daring tone, as if he was expecting Lucy to speak up and protest. "Nice to have you here on our party." The other two went forward, grabbing and dragging him with them over to the others, Bandit following. "Look who joined us guys! Someone who just doesn't know how to keep their nose out of other people's businessess.

Lucy dropped his walkie talkie, trying to fight back, as he got dragged along. "Let me Go, you Punks!!", He yelled, pulling and kicking around.

They pushed him down on the ground, the others looming around them. Bandit stared down at him, spitting on him. "God you're even disgusting to look at. What are you doing here, trying to blame something on us again?"

Lucy made a face at him, glaring. "Oh, I can blame you for a lot of things. Intruding governmental property, destroying governmental property, harrassing a police officer, damaging police property... The list is quite long."

"The usual. Thought so." He put down a foot on Lucy's chest, glaring back. "We're doing what needs to be done, it's simple as that. And if you're not getting the fuck out of here and stay out of our businesses I'll fuck you up, asshole."

"Of course you would. But only when your babysitters are around. Cause admit it, you wouldn't even think about messing with an officer on your own. And what you're doing is merely damaging this business. They'll have to pay for all the damage and have to shorten the payments for their workers."

"Heh. Shorten WHAT though" he asked, putting weight down on Lucy's chest, hissing. "Because whatever they're paying the workers it ain't enough to live. You should know that but you're probably just as corrupt as all your colleagues just going after the fucking money."

"It ain't enough to live, because you guys are causing it by damaging this place. If this keeps on going, they'll either have to cut the payment compeltely... or fire some of their workers and then they'll just end up on the street between all you rats", he barked, struggling a little with his breath tho.

"...sure. Don't listen to me. You know everything so much better from all the numbers you probably get presented on a sheet and you just nod because it has to be true. Why would any of the companies lie to you." He took his foot from his chest, glaring down at him. "If you'd just open your eyes for one moment you could SEE that most of the workers already live out on the streets!! They're longing to get fired and find a better job than THIS." He shook his head, groaning frustrated as he turned around. "We're done here guys."

Lucy took a deep breath, glaring back. "Of course I know better. Because you guys are just a bunch of mindless anarchists who work up their destructive ideals and ruin more than just a few people's lives."

That made Bandit stop in his tracks, turning around back to him. A few guys tried to make him come along again but he shrugged off their hands. "...you guys can leave without me. That might take longer than I thought" he growled, stepping back closer to Lucy while the others went away slowly. "...now... what did you fucker say...?"

"That your 'gang' is just a bunch of mindless anarchists whose leader is pretty much a child itself with no idea of how the real world works. Who's living in a dream, leading destructive raids against companies and ruining a bunch of innocent people's lives. So you heard me right, punk", he spat into his face, adjusting his clothes. "A child hiding behind a group of no goods, throwing its own life away just to be a pest for the society and to end up like any other one of your kind... Dead from an drug overdose or knifed down by one of your own men."

Bandit was trembling with anger upon hearing those works, throwing himself at Lucy, starting to punch him like he had gone mad, seeing nothing but red from the bullshit he just had to hear. "Don't talk about things that you CLEARLY DON'T UNDERSTAND" he screamed, aiming for his face.

Lucy blocked his face from any damage. "SAYS THE ONE WITH NO LIFE EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!", he yelled back, waiting the perfect opportunity to grab his fist and punch him back square in the face, throwing him off then.

Bandit groaned, tumbling back, holding his face. "OH AND OF COURSE YOU KNOW THAT AS WELL!!" He looked at him with pure hate as he went forward again.

"OF COURSE I DO, KID!!", he replied, stepping aside, grabbing his arm firmly and tossing him over his shoulder.

Bandit needed a moment, his head spinning slightly as he curled up on the ground. He slowly got up on his knees, shaking his head before standing up, slightly wobbly on his legs. Lucy had catched him off guard there.

"Told you, you ain't got shit against me on your own", he replied, lifting his arms, ready to attack again.

"You're making me so... fucking angry... that I can't think clear again sometimes" he groaned, rubbing his beaten face, closing his eyes for a moment. "How can you be so ignorant towards everything..."

"Says the right one", he countered, glaring back at him. "I've seen the dirt and muck of this town... And you're just adding more shit to it."

"Go to hell" he hissed, stumbling though as he tried to go forward again, quickly abandoning that idea again.
