A reason to go crazy

At first Bandit wanted to decline it but he honestly couldn't say anything bad against a cup of coffee right now. "...god damn it" he mumbled under his breath before he yelled back a short "coming!", slowly moving towards them.

Lucy looked back at Bandit and smiled. "I wasn't Sure how you like your coffee so I just got you some extra milka and sugar to add yourself", He explained, shrugging.

"...black will do just fine" he mumbled, adding a barely audible 'thanks' as he grapped the cup, taking a small sip from it.

"No problem", Lucy replied with a gentle smile, his heart racing again. "This is Lucifer btw, our number one customer", the worker told Bandit with a grin. "Oh shush. That's nothing special. You guys got everything I always need, whenever I need it", Lucy countered.

"Wooh." Bandit tried to make the most not enthusiastic sound he could think of, taking a larger sip from his coffee. "Sounds thrilling."

"See? Nothing special", Lucy replied to Bandit's reaction. "You shouldn't mind him tho, he's Most of the time pretty grumpy", the worker joked. "I think he's just more of a realist", Lucy countered.

"...maybe I'm just not interested in anything" he stated dryly but ended up having at the least a small smirk on his lips. "...that would make me a realist for sure though. Damn it."

"Told ya", Lucy turned to the worker with a cocky grin. "Alright, alright, you win", the guy huffed.

That made him roll his eyes, quickly drinking the rest of the coffee even though it was still a bit hot. "You two can go and enjoy yourselves. I'm out. Thanks for the coffee again."

"Oh... Uhm... No probs", Lucy replied turning bck to him.
Don't let him leave, don't let him leave.
"Hey, uh... Shall I get you Black coffee again next time?"

"No need to" he waved him off, about to turn away.

"W... Wait... I... I've been wondering..."
Don't do it. Don't.
"Iiiif... You wanna Hang out some time?", He tried to be as casual as possible.
What am I doing??

"...are you hitting on me." He turned his head to look at Lucy, frowning slightly. "No. Thank you. Have a nice day" he said in an icy voice.

Lucy flinched as Bandit turned around, but staring back at him in shock. He felt his chest tightening, a stinging pain spreading in his heart.
H... He denied me...
"Oh man, ice Cold... Don't mind him. He's usually an asshol--"
"Shut up."
The worker looked confused, while lucy's shoulders started shaking.
"I said Shut up!", He hissed at the guy, before quickly leaving the store.

Bandit had went back to his work, trying to block out the additional unnecessary thoughts that were haunting him now. "Geez I didn't ask for this..." he groaned. It was relief when work was finally over and he was able to head back home quickly.

Lucy paced through Bandit's place.
He pushed me away, declined my invitation. I just tried to be nice, as always! And He said no!
Lucy clenched his fists.
He will be Mine. If He wants to or Not.
He looked over to the table in the kitchen, before leaving a flower bouquet and leaving, before Bandit arrived.

Bandit didn't felt like cooking after work, deciding to just grab some quick Chinese take out on his way back... as well as a package of sleeping pills at a pharmacy. He had contemplated the whole day if he should spend the money on it but in the end he didn't care. He just wanted to get a good night's sleep again. Finally at home he just kicked off his shoes, heading over to the kitchen. He dropped the bag with the food in shock, starring at the bouquet of flowers on his kitchen table. There was just no more denying, someone had been inside his apartment. Probably not for the first time either. He stepped forward like he was in trance, touching the bouquet with shaking hands as if to see if it was really there or not. "Fuck..." he whispered under his breath, looking around. But if course there wasn't any sort of trail or anything in general that he could follow. Things were never that easy.

Lucy sat outside again, watching him, smiling softly.
He found Them~
He adjusted himself in the tree. There was a note on the bouquet: "For my dearest love, I hope you sleep well soon"

He had taken the note into his hands, holding his breath upon reading those words. "...fuck" he whispered this time, slowly pulling the sleeping pills out of his pocket. Someone knew much more about him than he would've liked. He forced himself to take a deep breath before taking the bouquet, holding it gingerly away from him and dumping it quickly into a trash can. He needed a plan, what should he do next. He couldn't sleep here tonight.

Lucy gritted his teeth.
So unthankful...
He swiftly got off the tree. He will learn to respect his gifts.

Bandit on the other hand felt himself slightly panicking. He had no idea what to do now. Was there even a place that he could go to? Would he be save for the night? Just one more night to figure things out? He had to force himself to calm down, drinking a glass of water and getting rid of the Chinese food on the floor. There more he thought about the situation the less he knew what to do. He ended up still taking the sleeping pills, needing to rest and get his thoughts clear somehow, just collapsing on his bed.

Lucy took the opportunity to creep into his house, masked. He went to his bedroom, sitting down to his sleeping love. "Oh my dear... Why won't you just accept the nice things...?", He mumbled, Not expecting any reply.

Bandit was too far out to notice anything going on around him. He even didn't bother to undress himself properly, just laying slightly curled up on his bed, breathing quietly.

"Finally some peaceful sleep for you... You look so beautiful", He added, carressing his cheek, biting his lower lip. He then leaned down, kissing him softly.

There was still no reaction coming from Bandit. He must've taken a few more sleeping pills if he was knocked out that deeply.
